Br. Dan Horan, OFM will be visiting us at St. Joseph University Parish on Sunday Feb 19th and will preach at the 8PM mass. He is a Franciscan and has written a wonderful book on forming a relationship with God and how one can come to know God better in their life. He compares developing this relationship to “dating”. Take a listen.
So Join us on February 19th for Br. Dan’s talk. We’ll serve a late-night meal and join in conversation with Br. Dan. His books will also be available for purchase.
I was honored to be asked to do the opening prayer reflection for the UB Gross Anatomy Service. The medical students honor their “first teachers”–those who donated their bodies to the school’s anatomical gift program. They have given a gift that can never be repaid–except by honoring them with their lives.
